Why is Karma.io rebranding?

Karma was created as a proprietary business solution for ILoveTravel and it was built and supported by ILoveTravel’s own in house development department. There’s nothing else like Karma in the travel industry. Travel companies that focus on group travel simply don’t have modern tools for managing group trips, financial transactions, inventory, etc.

The owners of Karma recognized this opportunity. By commercializing the product for sale to other companies, we can explore the tech industry and give something back to the travel industry that is so important to us all. We spun off from ILoveTravel and formed a new company called Groupdesk.io, lead by Alex Handa. The goal of Groupdesk is to modernize group travel by bringing e-commerce tools to the companies that have been under served by technology before now.

What is changing?

We’ve got a fancy new logo. We have some new clients using Groupdesk. We are formalizing our communication channels to ensure that issues are escalated and dealt with quickly, and we’re formalizing our payment structure to ensure that it’s clear what service with Groupdesk costs for each client. We’ve also created a bunch of training documents to help your team use Groupdesk to its fullest.

How does the rebranding affect me?

The only thing you’ll need to do once the rebranding occurs is to continue using our service at our new URL - _yourbrand_.groupdesk.io. Everything else will have been taken care of for you.
